Learn How To Make Yellow Cucumber Chutney / Dosakaya Chutney with chef Lakshmi Only On Variety Vantalu.<br /><br />Dosakaya Chutney is a traditional Andhra recipe popularly known as Dosakaya Pachhadi. No traditional Andhra Meal is complete without Dosakaya Pachhadi. It goes very well with Steamed Rice and Ghee. Here I have added Sesame Seeds to prepare this chutney to make it a little different.<br />Ingredients<br />Cucumber - 3 (Chopped)<br />Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon<br />Green chilies - 5-6<br />Dry Red Chilies - 4-5<br />Fenugreek seeds -1/4 teaspoon<br />Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp<br />Salt to taste<br />Tamarind paste- 1/2 teaspoon<br />Method: <br />1. Heat half the oil in a pan, Add 1 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds, Mustard seeds, red chilis and green chilis and roast them well. <br />2. Keep the tempering mixture aside and allow it cool down.<br />3. In a mixie jar, add tamarind pulp, green chilies, salt to taste, coriander leaves and turmeric powder. Grind it well.<br />4. If the chutney mixture is ground well, add tempering mixture, chopped cucumber pieces and again grind it coarsely.<br />Serve with hot steamed rice and ghee.<br />Happy Cooking !!!<br />
